Joining a working group or committee is one of the most powerful ways to do so. Even a small contribution can make a big difference.
Social Events Organization Team
Organize social events for members, such as trivia nights, game nights, etc.
Communications Working Group
Update the website, social media pages, handle media contacts, and promote events.
Mobilization Working Group
Mobilize members around key issues, coordinate actions including strike actions and more.
Health &Safety Working Group
Which will document health and safety issues and share them with the executive and bargaining committee.
Become a Grievance Officer
Support members with grievances and understanding their rights.
Special Skills
General Volunteers / Logistics taskforce.
Do you have unique skills that may benefit the union? Are you willing to help out wherever needed? This group is for you! Members with special skills in logistics are especially welcome to identify themselves.
Become a Department Representative
Act as a liaison between AMPFA and departmental members by sharing updates and gathering feedback. You will attend meetings, communicate key union information, and help address unit-specific concerns.
